The “First Experiences” campaign shares the power of a first time experience, recreating the wonder The Giver’s protagonist, Jonas, feels as he experiences color, love, music, emotions and the outside world for the first time. With support from OneRepublic, Aloe Blacc, Tori Kelly and Rixton, artists from the movie’s soundtrack, the “First Experiences” project aim to give the unforgettable first experience to people around the world who would otherwise never have it and encourage fans ofThe Giver to give back in the same way.
Below is a brief description of the initial “First Experience” video, each depicting charity-focused video content, to promote giving back in conjunction with The Giver. Not only does the “First Experiences” project showcase the power of giving back, but it is unlike any other movie campaign – connecting the artists involved with the soundtrack to fans of the movie and focusing on a charitable cause.
